Golden Young Life

Young Life is a world-class organization for adolescents.

Our staff and volunteers enter the world of kids, focusing on what matters to them — fun, adventure, friendship and a sense of significance. In doing so, we earn the privilege of talking to them about something that we believe matters most of all — the truth about God and His love for them.

• Golden Young Life strives to create meaningful, mentoring relationships between leaders and teens.
• Young Life Volunteers leave their own environment and enter the world of a teen – as a friend and a mentor.
• Someone who will listen, love and walk alongside them – wherever they’re at.
• Our volunteers develop strong and lasting bonds, and create a space where questions about life and faith in Jesus can be explored and discussed.
• The difference between a young person struggling through school or becoming a successful individual can be influenced by one positive role model.
• We know this is true, as many or our own volunteers have experienced obstacles in their youth and overcame them with the help of a mentor.
• The power of a safe place to be yourself and to be a part of something greater than yourself is immeasurable; and Golden Young Life and it’s team of volunteers aim to provide role models and experiences to help youth all across our community.
