Why specialty coffee in Golden? There is LOTS of competition in this field, but Amélie has pretty much been into coffee when she was a kid. She has a passion for all things coffee and wanted to develop a way to be more involved in the Golden community at the same time as making an impact on the bigger picture of coffee. Amélie has focused the business on supporting women farmers in higher elevation, mountainous countries. Her husband and handy-man Kyle had to join in the adventure and together they created North Bench Coffee to offer locally roasted coffee to their small town of Golden, BC.
They are hoping to start offering some of their garden produce in the near future (hence their name). Stay tuned.
