Sideways Strategies Inc. is a professional skateboard and snowboard coaching school here in Golden BC. We offer private coaching, drop-in sessions, multi-week courses, day camps, weekend and after-school programs and so much more.
Sideways Strategies Inc. Skateboard and Snowboard School is a family-owned and operated business in Golden British Columbia created by local professional snowboarder and lifelong skateboarder Jessie Oatway.
We are leading edge in the world of skateboard coaching and thrive to set the bar high for the rest of the industry to follow. All of our local coaches are certified by the Canada Skateboard and/or Canada Snowboard, registered with the NCCP (National Coaching Certification Program), and have taken necessary Sport for Life training courses as well as completed the CATT concussion training course. Everyone who works with us has completed a stage 4 criminal record check. Sideways Strategies Inc. has 5 million dollar (full liability) commercial insurance and our coaches are additionally covered by WCB and have first aid training.
Sideways Strategies is here to help you improve faster and safer alongside our fully certified local coaches. We understand that each rider has different strengths and abilities, we will focus on each rider’s individual goals and needs.
