The Centre for Peace at St. Andrew’s United Church of Golden is a Non-Denominational inclusive place where the Community can participate and direct activities which further our knowledge of and our connection to food, water and our physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual wellness.
Our Purpose is to encourage cross generational interactions and relationships; to explore ways to respect and work with nature; to become aware of social justice and community issues and to appreciate cultural diversity and celebrate with art and music.
We encourage all citizens of Golden and surrounding area to be creative and utilize the facilities to enhance the Quality of Life here.
The Centre for Peace is a gathering place in Golden for those seeking justice, community and spirituality. Programs and events at the Centre for Peace are managed by a steering committee of volunteers in Golden who are accountable to the Official Board of St. Andrew’s United Church.
