Island Restaurant

Located in a cozy log building, the Island Restaurant is located on an island in the centre of Golden. We have 2 floors of dining space, featuring our main floor which is cozy with a handcrafted bar. Upstairs is more spacious where you can spread out on large tables, or book the space privately for a group.

For the summer months we have 2 patios and 2 outdoor nooks, where you can relax with mountain views beside the Kicking Horse River. The upper patio features a fun patio bar, and the lower patio is right beside the river.

We are open daily, and do not shut down in the quiet season. We serve breakfast, lunch and dinner, and the majority of our menu is made from scratch. Bread is baked here, sauces and jams homemade.

We offer Mexican Madness every Monday and Tuesday for lunch and dinner. This features our Mexican menu as well as margarita and corona specials.
